Group walk in the gardens with optional lunch in Lady Norwood Rose garden café. After lunch there is an optional visit to the Carter Observatory (opens 4 pm) and the Cable Car.

We meet at the Sound Shell. For those who are not savvy in the gardens, see the below map. The Sound Shell is to be found where the bright blue arrow points. Travelling there is easy. There is a busstop (Route 2 to Karori) next to the main entrance on Tinakori Road/Glenmore Street.
